Through tricks, tales, and interactive experiences, you’ll gain a unique and entertaining perspective of San Diego’s former red-light district. You’ll see how the underbelly of California’s first city thrived and how it paved the way for con artists, schemers, and scammers in their original places of ‘business’—today some of the city’s most treasured landmarks.

If you are joining us for the evening stroll, we will top your night off at The Prestige Magic Lounge & Showroom with a complimentary drink, some more magic and a fun magical take home!

All morning tours will end in front of the Horton Grand Hotel.

What do we need to bring?

Your good energy and comfortable walking shoes!

Where should we park? How should we get there?

We recommend parking in the 6th and K Parkade. This garage is located on 6th street in between K and L street.

For reference, the garage is next to Petco Park and The Omni Hotel.

The tour starts at the Gaslamp Quarter stop on the green line in front of the Hard Rock Hotel.

Do you offer private tours?

Is the tour suitable for all ages? Can I bring my kids?

The tour focuses on the red light district past of the Gaslamp Quarter so there will be subtle references to adult material. We trust your judgement and are excited to have anyone you are comfortable bringing!
